Education Pioneer Opportunity
This graduate teacher program is an ongoing endeavor to foster a vibrant learning community in the Pakenham region.
A new school is being built as part of a commitment to deliver 100 new schools between 2019 and 2026.
The school features landscaped grounds, recreational spaces, including a sports field, and hard courts, alongside a community hub.
We will prioritize equipping our students with essential skills for positive social interactions, teamwork, and effective learning.

Key Selection Criteria:
SC1 Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum and capacity to incorporate literacy and numeracy skills. Demonstrated capacity to respond to student learning needs.
SC2 Demonstrated capacity to implement high-impact teaching strategies guided by how students learn and evaluate the impact of learning and teaching programs on student learning growth.
SC3 Demonstrated capacity to monitor and assess student learning and use data to inform teaching practice and provide feedback on student learning growth and achievement to students and parents.
SC4 Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills and capacity to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and the broader school community to support student learning, wellbeing, and engagement.
SC5 Demonstrated behaviors and attitudes consistent with Department values and capacity to reflect upon practice and engage in professional learning to continually improve the quality of teaching.
Program Benefits:
Teachers participate in the development of school policies and programs and assist in the implementation of school priorities.
They are responsible for teaching their own classes and may also assist and participate in policy development, project teams, and the organisation of co-curricula activities.

Developing and implementing teaching programs to meet the diverse needs of students.
Developing, selecting, and integrating curriculum and resources to support teaching and student learning.
Assessing, recording, and reporting on student progress and development using assessment tools provided by the school.
Establishing and maintaining relationships with students, parents, and other stakeholders to enhance student learning and wellbeing.
Participating in professional learning to continually improve the quality of teaching and learning.
