Opportunity Overview

This role offers a chance to pioneer a brand-new early learning service in Tasmania, creating a culture from the ground up within a purpose-built centre.

The ideal candidate will lead the setup and establishment of the centre, including team recruitment, policy implementation, and community engagement.

They will be responsible for driving the delivery of high-quality early learning programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQS).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing a new centre from scratch
  • Driving program excellence in early learning
  • Motivating and leading educators through strong leadership
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance

The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and regulatory standards.

They should have proven leadership experience in early childhood education and care, along with a demonstrated commitment to professional growth, reflective practice, and team development.

A minimum Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or Early Childhood Teaching Degree is required.
