Accountant Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to provide financial management services. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing monthly financial reports, analyzing variances and ensuring compliance with Australian Accounting Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 1 Prepare monthly financial reports, including balance sheet reconciliations and cash forecasts.
  • 2 Assist with budgeting and forecasting, and prepare reports for stakeholders.
  • 3 Work on payroll accounting for a complex organization, ensuring adherence to NSW Treasury guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 5+ years of BPO/Shared Service experience.
  • 2 Recent working knowledge of Management Accounting, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and general ledger management.
  • 3 Public sector experience is highly desirable.

Essential Skills and Requirements:

  • 1 Good knowledge of financial statements preparation and Australian Accounting Standards.
  • 2 Sound knowledge of Procure to Pay, Order to Cash & Record to Report processes, Invoice processing (AP&AR), and Cash Apps.
