Position Overview
A challenging opportunity has become available for an experienced risk management professional to join our advisory team at AU002 Marsh Pty Ltd_AU in the Melbourne office.
About the Role
This role involves leading risk advisory engagements with a diverse range of clients, collaborating with clients to identify, analyze, quantify and effectively transfer risk, and developing comprehensive recommendations and solutions to optimize risk management using various formats including reports, presentations and webinars.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) engagements focussed on enhancing risk maturity in our client's organisations, aligning strategies with the most effective industry practices.
- Translate global risk management standards into actionable risk roadmaps to provide clients with concise and sustainable risk management strategies.
- Working with clients to recommend policy, procedural, process, system and control improvements.
- Assist in the planning of client deliverables (i.e. reports).
- Responsible for the execution of fieldwork and documentation of findings.
- Identification of findings and issues, and assisting in the drafting of client reports.
- Assist in business development activities of the firm.
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships through impactful communication, ensuring a deep understanding of their unique needs to effectively address their risk challenges effectively.
- Project manage the execution of risk advisory projects, adhering to timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met, while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Commerce or equivalent.
- At least 3+ years of working experience in risk advisory and/or internal audit within a Big 4 consulting firm.
- Professional certification such as CA/CPA/CFE (desirable).
- Proficient in risk management concepts and processes (ISO 31000, COSO).
