The ideal candidate for this role will possess a strong passion for supporting children as they begin to discover and explore their world. Guardian requires educators who create safe and secure environments where young children thrive.

As an Early Years Leader, you will work closely with fellow educators and centre leadership team members to develop and implement innovative early learning programs that set children up for formal schooling and beyond.

About the Centre

Join our brand new 100 place centre located on one level with six rooms. The centre is dedicated to providing a nurturing environment that fosters meaningful relationships between children, families, colleagues, and the community.

The Opportunity

  • You will lead and guide teams in developing and implementing an innovative early learning program reflective of current early years thinking and practice.
  • Developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the centre community is essential for success in this role.
  • You will document and share with families in their children's learning and development.
  • Actively contributing to the implementation and adoption of our curriculum.
  • Professional learning and development programs, career pathways, and a truly collaborative and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

- A completed Diploma in Children's Services (or working towards)

- Prior experience in long day-care

- Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the NQF and the EYLF

- Current Working with Children's Check
