We are seeking a highly skilled professional to provide high standard nursing clinical care with an individual, person-centred approach to all residents within our residential aged care home.

About the Role

This position involves providing direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures. Additionally, you will act as a team leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team.

  • Key responsibilities include working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents closely following all policies and procedures.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly.
  • Current registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification.
  • Thorough understanding of legislation and quality standards related to aged care.
  • Demonstrated understanding of assessment processes.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of age-related health issues.
  • Strong coaching/training skills.
  • Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Willingness to apply for clearance checks.
