We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team as a Finance Trainee. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of the finance function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations and banking.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to embark on a rewarding career journey in Finance and be part of a supportive and forward-thinking organisation. As a Finance Trainee with us, you will work amongst our experienced and passionate Finance team conducting tasks and projects associated with payroll and assisting with customer enquiries relating to financial matters.

You will also have the chance to assist in areas such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations and banking, while learning how to use Microsoft Office Products to manage and analyze financial data.

What You'll Be Doing

Assist in preparing and processing financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable

Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies

Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders and external customers

Analyze and report on financial data using Microsoft Excel

Develop skills and knowledge in finance, accounting and business operations

Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve business objectives

We offer a competitive salary package, including:

  • A base salary of $687.10 to $803.30 per week (depending on age) + 11.5% superannuation
  • Temporary two-year Full-Time position 35 hours per week
  • Scope for performance-based salary increases in line with the completion of studies
