Shutdown Technician - Opportunity to Grow

We are a global group of professionals seeking skilled Shutdown Technicians to join our team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in our shutdowns and ongoing projects, working on tasks such as flange management, heat exchanger maintenance services, internal confined space fitting works, and reading mechanical drawings.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Flange Management: Hi-Torque and Tensioning
  • Heat Exchanger Maintenance Services
  • Internal Confined Space Fitting Works
  • Reading and Understanding Mechanical Drawings
  • Dealing with Hazardous Materials
  • Collaborating with Other Disciplines
  • Working within a Team Environment

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience working in the Mining, Resources & Energy sector
  • Ability to work shift work (Day/Night/Weekends)
  • Possess formal Trade Qualifications as a Mechanical Fitter & Turner or an equivalent recognized Mechanical trade certificate
  • Flange Management Training (an advantage)
  • Working at Heights Certificate (within 2 years)
  • Confined Space Entry Certificate (within 2 years)
  • Gas Test Atmosphere Certificate (within 2 years)
  • Breathing Apparatus Certificate (desirable)
  • Current Driver's License (highly desirable)
  • High Risk Work License - LF/Dogman/Rigger (advantageous)
  • White Card
  • Full Australian Work Rights
