We are seeking a Conservation Engagement Officer to join our team in Sydney.

About the Role

The Conservation Engagement Officer will play a key role in delivering our visitor engagement program, focusing on guided visits and events. This is an administrative and field-based position requiring excellent planning, logistical, and coordination skills. The successful candidate will work closely with staff and stakeholders to manage trip documentation, promotions, bookings, briefings, and reports. They will provide critical support to field staff and experts in all aspects of trip delivery.

During guided trips, the Conservation Engagement Officer will need to work outside standard business hours and be prepared to travel to remote locations. Our comprehensive Field Safety System ensures the safety of our people in the field.

What You'll Need to Succeed
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role or outdoor education, nature, or adventure tourism sector.
  • Genuine commitment and passion for nature conservation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and group management skills.
  • Ability to assess and mitigate risks associated with field activities.
