Youth Services Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Worker to join our team at Samaritans. As a key member of our team, you will provide a safe and supportive environment for young people, ensuring they receive flexible and quality services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide residential support, outreach, and early intervention services to disadvantaged young people
- Work collaboratively with schools, community groups, and other stakeholders to promote the well-being of young people
- Develop and implement individualized plans to support young people's goals and aspirations
- Contribute to a culturally safe environment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
- Tertiary Certificate in Youth Work, Community Welfare, or Social Work, or equivalent experience
- Availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and sleepovers
- Demonstrated capacity to utilize a strengths-based and trauma-informed care approach
- Understanding and commitment to child protection legislation
- Positive communication and conflict resolution skills
