This is a great opportunity for multiple EL1 Policy Leads to join a busy team for a 12-month temporary assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Policy and Team Lead, you will engage in problem-solving and issues management, exercising sound decision-making and judgement to produce policy advice.

You will help undertake engagement and co-design activities with stakeholders, including the disability community.

Key Duties:

  • Lead a team to develop contemporary and informed policy and strategies.
  • Build relationships and engage with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead the development of policy and corporate documents to a high standard.
  • Design and deliver engagement activities.
  • Use data and technical inputs to form recommendations.
  • Lead reform projects in line with the Agency's wider reform program.
  • Manage and provide policy leadership to a team.
  • Contribute to building a positive and high-performing team culture.

About You:

We are looking for someone with strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.

You should have superior communication and stakeholder management skills, as well as a collaborative approach, working well in teams and with limited direction.

A policy and team leadership experience is essential, along with the ability to develop and interpret policy, analyse data and information, prepare and review policy papers, reports, presentations, briefings, and correspondence.

Candidates with an understanding and experience relating to the disability sector and market will be considered favourably.

A relevant bachelor degree is required.
