Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team in the Leongatha/Wonthaggi area. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and aspirations.
Key Responsibilities- Implement support plans that cater to the unique needs, preferences, and interests of our clients
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, hygiene, and household duties
- Support clients to participate in social events, work, and appointments
- Promote personal choice and control for our clients
- Administer medication and provide general care and support
- A passion for working with people with disabilities and a desire to make a positive impact
- Relevant qualifications and experience in disability support or a related field
- Ability to work as part of a team and provide support to colleagues
- NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and unrestricted Australian Driver's License
- Current First Aid Certificate with CPR and evidence of COVID-19 vaccination status
