Plasterer

We are seeking a skilled plastering professional to join our team for a long-term residential project in Sydney.

The successful candidate will work on-site, 38 hours per week, and receive a competitive salary based on experience.

This position requires:

  • Ability to work at heights
  • Manual handling and lifting of heavy and bulky items
  • A high degree of mobility, including walking, lifting, loading, and unloading vehicles

Responsibilities include:

  1. Fitting and finishing plaster surfacing
  2. Measuring and cutting plasterboard
  3. Positioning and securing panels to walls and ceilings
  4. Preparing and securing corner beads
  5. Securing panel mouldings, cornices, ceiling centres, and other plaster fittings
  6. Pasting coats of plaster, render, and cement using trowels
  7. Levelling and smoothing plaster layers
  8. Covering and smoothing over nail holes and joins using plaster, sealing compounds, and sandpaper
