Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commerce Teacher to join our academic team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the VCE curriculum and assessment requirements in Accounting, Economics, and Business Management.

The successful teacher will be provided with opportunities to develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assess student performance, and provide feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach VCE Commerce subjects including Accounting, Economics, and Business Management
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans
  • Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practices

Requirements:

  • Appropriate teaching qualifications with VIT registration or eligibility for registration in Victoria;
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Secondary Commerce Teacher;
  • Proven experience teaching Accounting, Economics, and Business Management in Units 1 to 4;
  • A demonstrated understanding of how student achievement is maximised in the VCE environment; and
  • Evidence of working effectively in a collaborative team.
