If you are a skilled Process Technician with experience in the mining industry and possess a solid understanding of various processing circuits, along with the ability to implement safety and environmental protocols effectively, this role is tailored for you.
About the Role & Client:
Our client is a well-respected leader and owner operator in the mining sector, known for their commitment to innovation, safety, and technical excellence. They are currently looking for a dedicated Process Technician to enhance their heavy mining processing team.
As a Process Technician, your responsibilities will include ensuring the proper operation and maintenance of equipment, with a focus on milling, grinding, leaching, and gravity concentration processes within the Gold sector.
- Operate and maintain processing equipment
- Monitor and control plant operations
- Assist during plant shutdowns and start-ups
- Identify and report safety hazards
- Maintain accurate records of plant performance and production
- Conduct regular checks and maintenance on processing equipment
- Participate in safety and environmental audits
- Train new technicians on plant processes and procedures
Benefits:

- 8/6 day roster and 7/7 night roster
- Competitive pay of up to $55 per hour (Dependent on Experience)
- 12-hour paid shifts, with Superannuation on all hours worked.

Skills & Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Gold Processing Plant; other mineral processing experience will be considered.
- Familiarity with dual stage grinding, gravity, and CIP/CIL circuits.
- Flexibility to work on a FIFO roster – Day and Night shifts
- Current Driver's Licence
- Ability to obtain a clear National Police Clearance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
