As a Support Professional, you will be part of a diverse team dedicated to empowering clients to live their chosen lives. Your role will involve:

  • Providing support for individuals with complex high-care needs, including those with challenging behaviours
  • Assisting customers to engage in community-based activities and achieve their life goals
  • Developing and implementing person-centred plans that reflect each individual's unique needs and aspirations
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure positive behaviour support plans are followed
  • Managing administration duties, expense reports and mandatory documentation

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in supporting individuals with behavioural support plans
  • Previous experience working with challenging behaviours
  • Manual handling and medication administration skills
  • Significant personal care and domestic duties experience
  • The ability to manage situations with patience and maturity
  • A Certificate in Disability or Mental Health, or higher qualification
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to use your private vehicle (aligned with industry standards)
