This is an exciting opportunity to join the Accor team as a Public Area Attendant in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our public areas, providing exceptional customer service to our guests, and contributing to the overall success of our hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and Maintenance
- Clean all public areas, including lobbies, corridors, and restrooms, to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of back-of-house areas, including storage rooms and equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist guests with directions, information, and other requests as needed.
- Use and clean equipment with care, reporting any defective equipment to the supervisor.
- Ensure all department equipment is maintained to a high standard.
- Ensure the security of keys and public/back-of-house areas at all times by adherence to security procedures.
- Report any suspicious persons or items to the supervisor.
- Understand the correct usage and storage of cleaning agents in line with health and safety regulations and manufacturer's instructions.
Requirements
- Availability and Flexibility
- Demonstrate availability to work on a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Have housekeeping experience, preferably in a star-rated hotel or fast-paced setting.
- Strong customer service, excellent presentation, and a passion for learning are valued.
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged to apply.
