The Revenue Officer will join the Revenue Team and take full ownership of billing processes, funding transactions, and related support activities for designated business units. On a daily basis, you will manage fee setups, process billing adjustments, and generate monthly billing statements. Additionally, you will handle debt management by generating direct debits, processing rejections, and managing overdue accounts. Weekly responsibilities include reconciling funding sources and investigating discrepancies, ensuring all billing is aligned with relevant funding streams. You will also collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, providing timely and accurate billing services.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in the financial performance of the department by ensuring accurate, timely billing and reconciliation processes. You will work with a diverse group of internal contacts, including managers, admission teams, and credit management, to deliver effective billing and customer service. Your contributions will directly impact the smooth operation of the business, helping clients and their families navigate financial processes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of billing processes, ensuring all fees, charges, and payments are processed accurately and within deadlines.
  • Reconcile funding statements, investigate discrepancies, and ensure alignment with billing streams and relevant documentation.
  • Manage fee setups, rate adjustments, and the generation of monthly billing and statements for assigned business units.
  • Handle direct debits, process rejections, and follow up on overdue accounts to minimise bad debts.
  • Address and resolve billing queries from both internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Generate and distribute debt collection letters, as well as manage collections for overdue accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with documented revenue processes, government funding reconciliations, and internal business rules.
  • Maintain efficient administrative processes to support the smooth operation of the finance department.
  • Proactively communicate with managers, customers, and other stakeholders to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Support the finance department's goals by delivering timely and accurate financial reporting.
