Job Overview:

The role of a Care Manager involves providing expert clinical leadership and support to teams responsible for the care of residents in a residential aged care setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure high-quality, person-centered care is delivered to residents at all times, adhering to established quality standards and policies.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to colleagues to ensure effective teamwork and delivery of quality resident outcomes.
  • Work safely and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures, including IPC protocols.
  • Assume a secondary leadership role to the Residential Manager.
Requirements:
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional care to older adults.
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • In-depth understanding of aged care legislation and quality standards.
  • Knowledge of AN-ACC assessment processes.
  • Comprehensive clinical expertise, particularly in age-related health issues.
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety principles.
  • Previous experience working in a similar role within a residential aged care setting.
  • Strong coaching and training skills, with ability to influence others.
  • Customer-centric approach to service delivery.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Willingsness to undergo a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
