As the Government Procurement Specialist, you will contribute to this vision by leading the development, implementation, and ongoing management of a single procurement framework in Transport & Main Roads.
You will lead the review and improvement of procurement governance environment, including the integration of governance and controls to better support accountability, probity, consistency, transparency, and risk management. Additionally, you will develop and manage the team's program of work to ensure expected program outcomes are quality assured and delivered on time.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Developing a centre-led, locally enabled procurement operating model that is customer-centric and aligns with organisational goals.
- Leading stakeholder relationships with internal clients, suppliers, industry, and public-sector bodies to ensure TMR procurement policies and business improvements are optimised and fit for purpose.
- Managing risk and compliance treatments and strategies, including monitoring their effectiveness.
