Job Title

Safety Advisor Role Summary

This position plays a crucial role in the successful delivery of our iconic Gold Coast project.

  • Monitor and support safety practices, systems, and procedures on site.
  • Implement safety programs for project employees.
  • Assist with workers compensation claims and rehabilitation processes.
  • Conduct incident and accident investigations.
  • Inspect work areas to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate operational support to project management teams.
  • Develop communications tools and records for all project safety meetings.
  • Maintain reports and documentation concerning aspects of project safety programs.
  • Collaborate with project personnel to raise awareness of safety risks.
Requirements

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Diploma of Work Health and Safety or equivalent qualification.
  • Safety Lead Auditor qualification.
  • Construction safety management experience (minimum 3 years).
  • Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative risk assessment and monitoring of risk controls.
  • Experience reviewing and performing compliance inspections.
