We are seeking a highly skilled Art Director to join our team at AKQA. As a creative thinker, you will be responsible for bringing your perspective to create and build on ideas, producing outstanding work that exceeds client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of creative, artistic, and cultural trends, using them to inform and inspire your work.
  • Collaborate with Copywriters to develop and execute innovative ideas that meet client briefs and exceed expectations.
  • Direct all aspects of art on a brand, taking into account the brand's values and user needs.
  • Develop and execute ideas across various communication channels, formats, and touch points, ensuring visual consistency and quality.
  • Work closely with Copywriters to ensure correct briefing of production companies, directors, and other partners.
  • Direct and supervise suppliers and internal studio on all print and production work, taking responsibility for the quality of finished work.
  • Participate in new business pitches and strengthen client relationships by attending client meetings.
  • Contribute to thought leadership and inspire professional development within the team.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in the industry.
  • A portfolio of creative work that showcases outstanding campaigns and projects.
  • Abreast with the latest advertising and creative trends, techniques, and developments.
  • Commercial skills to understand client business and industry contexts.
  • Strong presentation and objection handling skills.
