**Job Summary:**

As a seasoned project management professional, you will be responsible for delivering projects with water companies or the Environment Agency in the Midlands area. This role offers the opportunity to work in consultancy roles in the North West of England.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pre- and post-contract management in NEC 3 or NEC 4 ECC form and procurement within the UK water, environment, rail, or nuclear sector. Experience working with Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) and/or Early Subcontractor Involvement (ESI) in design and build major capital programmes is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management: Manage NEC 3/4 Option A, Option C, Option E ECC contracts on behalf of clients
  • Budget Control: Monitor and control project budgets
  • Collaboration: Work closely with QS to perform payment valuations and certify monthly payments under ECC and PSC forms of the NEC 4 form of contract
  • Forecasting: Prepare actual cost forecasts and Defined Cost determinations in collaboration with the QS
  • Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate project management records and commercial records in line with contract requirements
  • Communication: Draft contract communications and notices, including Early Warning Notices, notification of Compensation Events, and General Communications

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree qualification in a numeric field. Full Membership of a chartered body such as APM at MAPM is also required. You should have a wealth of experience postgraduate in Rail, Nuclear, Water, and/or Environment sectors.
