Compassionate Caregiver for Aged Residents

We are seeking a Compassionate Caregiver to join our team at Laurieton, in the Mid north coast region. As a caregiver, you will work across all shifts (morning, afternoon and night shifts) providing whole-of-person care to our residents. You will be an integral part of our team, working collaboratively with other caregivers to deliver high-quality care.
To be considered for this role, you will require AHPRA Registration and proven skills in clinical care, clinical decision-making, and palliation. First Aid and CPR Certificates are also essential. Previous experience in Aged Care is desired but not essential.
Salary
The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience. This includes a competitive hourly rate, as well as opportunities for salary packaging and leave entitlements.
Job Description
As a Compassionate Caregiver, your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality care to our residents. This will involve:
- Providing individualised care plans tailored to each resident's needs
- Assisting residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitoring residents' physical and emotional health, reporting any changes or concerns to senior staff
- Collaborating with other caregivers to deliver holistic care and support
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- AHPRA Registration
- Proven skills in clinical care, clinical decision-making, and palliation
- First Aid and CPR Certificates
