Job Title: IT Technical Lead

About the Role:

The role of IT Technical Lead involves providing critical technical support to the organization in planning, coordinating and controlling ICT operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • POS & EFTPOS Support: Provide technical assistance for all POS/EFTPOS issues, resolving hardware/software faults and supporting event-day operations.
  • Systems & Infrastructure Administration: Administer and maintain the venue's network and server infrastructure, ensuring peak performance and security.
  • Technical & Helpdesk Support: Offer proactive and independent support to end-users across various hardware and software platforms.
  • ICT Projects Assistance: Assist with the execution of systems upgrades, deployments, and other tech improvements.
  • Cybersecurity & Compliance: Contribute to cybersecurity practices and ensure alignment with organizational policies.
  • Process Innovation: Identify and implement improvements in systems, support processes, and documentation.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of IT support experience, including 2+ years in a senior or advanced role.
  • Proven ability to work independently and solve problems proactively.
  • Strong Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of POS/EFTPOS, Windows environments, Microsoft 365, AD, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and server infrastructure.
  • Exposure to ITIL environment and design/implementation of VLANs and network subnets.
  • Hands-on Experience: Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools and practices.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and documentation skills.
