Responsibilities and Expectations
  • Strategically select, analyze, and manage accounts based on guidelines from the company's cyber insurance division.
  • Negotiate pricing, coverages, and terms with insurance brokers while fostering strong relationships and partnerships.
  • Renew business throughout the year, ensuring exceptional customer service standards and high levels of satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team to support goals and strengthen strategic partnerships with insurance brokers.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends and emerging cyber threats.
  • Identify areas where the company's capabilities provide a competitive advantage and develop processes to support these strengths.
  • Contribute to determining approaches to emerging threats, loss trends, and marketplace changes in cyber risks.
  • Partner with Engineering and Data Science teams to improve technology and deliverables for policyholders.
  • Provide subject matter expertise for coverage questions and ensure accurate information is provided to customers.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 4+ years of underwriting experience, specifically in cyber insurance.
  • Technical expertise and product knowledge in Commercial Insurance.
  • Demonstrated ability to build a profitable book of cyber business.
  • Knowledge of marketing principles, underwriting, and pricing strategies.
  • Strong sales and marketing skills with experience in agency and broker management.
  • Proven ability to negotiate at all levels and develop broker relationships.
