Medical Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse
Description:This role involves delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit. Guided by knowledge of fundamental principles of nursing, utilizes critical thinking supported by evidence and clinical expertise in delivering patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:- Provides, coordinates and/or delegates nursing care and manages resources to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
- Maintains current Basic Life Support certification; Critical care nurses must successfully complete Advanced Cardiac Life Support within the first six months of employment.
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required for all applicants.
- Candidates with an Associate's degree will be considered but are required to obtain BSN within three years of employment.
- Current license to practice registered nursing in the State is mandatory.
Heavy: Exerts 50-100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or ten to 20 pounds of force continuously to move objects.
