About the Role

Davidson is working with a state government department to find an experienced Purchasing Advisor who can prepare and call tenders for various categories, including construction, maintenance, consulting, and upgrade activities.

The ideal candidate will have a high level of stakeholder involvement, complex project conversation, and problem-solving techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and call tenders for various categories
  • Evaluate and implement regulatory techniques
  • Communicate procurement strategies and Queensland Procurement Policy requirements to staff
  • Establish relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with the Queensland Procurement Policy and other related legislation
  • Develop and implement procurement instructions, procedures, guidelines, and standard forms
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Experience working within Government highly regarded
  • Experience in preparing tenders for various categories
  • High level of stakeholder involvement, complex project conversation, and problem-solving techniques

What We Offer

  • $71.67 per hour + Super
  • Contract up to 28th March 2025
  • Northside location (with flexibility to attend other offices as required)
