About the Roles:
We seek experienced Clinical and General Psychologists, Accredited Mental Health Social Workers and Mental Health Occupational Therapists to support individuals with mental ill-health in our multidisciplinary team.
We offer opportunities across our sites in Ipswich, Beaudesert, Meadowbrook, Nundah and Woolloongabba.
As a Private Practitioner, your income will be derived directly from Medicare Bulk Billings. You must be eligible to provide services under the Medicare Benefits Scheme (MBS - Better Access) and will be asked to provide evidence of compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing high-standard assessments, psychological, counselling and therapeutic interventions with 12-25 year-olds
- Servicing between 5-7 clients per day based on your preference
- Liaising and working with internal and external stakeholders
- Communicating with GP following session 1, 6 and 10
- Being part of the innovative headspace model
About the Benefits:
We offer flexible work options between 2-4 days weekly, scheduled around your commitments. This includes administrative support, including billing and appointment bookings. You will work with and have the support of a friendly multi-disciplinary team. Daily case review and paperless practice with IT support are also available.
This includes, but is not limited to, people with a lived-experience of mental health recovery, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, LGBTQIA+, and people with disabilities.
