Job Opportunity: Data Strategy Lead

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement master data management strategies within the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, covering customer pricing, supplier pricing, category management, product content, and inventory.
  • Lead complex data migration projects for seamless transitions from legacy systems.
  • Ensure data accessibility for B2B website functionality.
  • Design and implement part number creation systems at branch level.
  • Oversee business intelligence reporting across sales and inventory using advanced analytics tools.
  • Partner with stakeholders to share insights and provide recommendations driving business growth.
  • Lead and develop a small data team while collaborating closely with ERP professionals.
Requirements:
  • Highly analytical and detail-focused with a clear strategic mindset.
  • A confident communicator able to influence leaders and engage non-technical stakeholders like branch managers.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Epicor, D365, SAP, or similar), data governance, and business intelligence tools.
  • Skilled in SQL, Power BI/Tableau, and comfortable working across databases and data platforms.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and eager to make a difference.
  • Previous leadership experience preferred but we also consider ambitious individuals ready to step up.
