Job Title: Senior Content Strategist

 

Job Description:
  • Leads, develops, writes, and produces routine to moderately complex proposals and qualifications in compliance with client deadlines, quality expectations.
  • Assists in formulating pursuit strategy and development of content and marketing materials.
  • Prepares proposal and interview management plans (e.g., outlines, page limits, client technical and administrative requirements, proposal and interview schedules).
  • Synthesizes, interprets, and translates the requirements and proposal submission instructions from RFPs with specific instructions to assist technical authors.
  • Develops tailored, meaningful content and designs for marketing team-assigned sections.
  • Reviews, edits, and re-writes or re-messages content developed by technical practitioners.
  • Verifies that proposal submissions adhere to the solicitation requirements (e.g., formatting, content, page count, schedule, costs, deliverables, milestones).

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead kick-off meetings and standard proposal review processes.
  • Prepare materials for kick-off meetings and standard proposal review processes.
  • Work closely with graphic designers, subject matter experts, and other technical staff to produce compliant, on-time, differentiating proposals.
  • Communicate regularly with subconsultants and track subconsultant materials for proposals.
  • Shadows senior marketing staff during Super Strategic pursuits.
  • Develop, update, and maintain boilerplate content and manage ongoing reviews by technical and administrative staff.
  • Add to the proposal knowledge base.

 

Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality.
  • Ability to identify and seek needed information/research skills.
  • Team oriented with ability to perform multiple tasks independently in a timely manner and collaborate effectively and positively with coworkers.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail oriented.
  • Persuasive writing techniques.
  • Ability to quickly and accurately edit and reformat documents while under time constraints.
  • Ability to adapt to changes with ease.
  • Demonstrated ability to move projects forward.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of proposal, writing, or marketing experience in the professional services industry.
  • BA/BS in Marketing, English, Communications, or related discipline.
  • Preferred experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite programs.
