**Job Overview**

As a leader in our BootStack team, you will oversee a growing group of engineers responsible for delivering global managed services. Your expertise will drive the success of Ubuntu and open-source products in the cloud.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Lead high-performing engineering teams to optimize development velocity

- Identify key performance indicators for team health and implement disciplined processes

- Represent the team with stakeholders, customers, and external teams

- Ensure team focus on priorities, milestones, and deliverables

- Meet service level agreements with global customer deployments

- Deliver quality managed services in a timely manner

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor's degree in a technology field or equivalent

- Proven experience in software delivery using Python, Go, C, C++, Java, or similar languages

- Experience managing operations teams

- Strong commitment to testing methodologies and code quality

- Familiarity with Linux system administration, Ubuntu/Debian a plus

- Excellent communication and cooperation skills

- Experience with agile software development methodologies

- Distributed team management experience

- Technical aptitude for complex distributed systems

- Cloud topology and technology experience
