About The RoleThis position sits within the systems team, where you will be handling AV sales to corporate, government, and education verticals.
Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will work with independent and boutique integrators to assist in the growth of these accounts.
Principally, you will develop and maintain solid relationships with the integrator client base and maintain a thorough understanding of the products/services as well as anticipating AV needs, based on an understanding of challenges, opportunities, and expected changes.
You will maintain professional and technical knowledge of their distributed product range, technologies, and service offerings through various means, including attending training sessions, reviewing supplier websites, establishing personal networks, and reading industry publications.
You will provide regular feedback and work collaboratively with marketing, specifically related to client responses and market intelligence.
You will nurture existing integrator relationships - account and portfolio growth really is the key objective of this position.
You will also ensure solutions are working for prior customers and previous projects; maintaining a strong ongoing relationship and continuity of customer care.
You will have the flexibility to visit customers and integrators in the local area in person so they know you are the face of their account.
About YouWe are looking for a highly motivated and driven individual with a background in technology/technical products.
This could be technology sales such as retail or technical experience in the AV space with a desire to move into sales.
A proven track record of maintaining great business relationships is essential.
A strong interest or passion for AV is required.
Intangible qualities such as a clear communicator, a team player, flexibility to travel occasionally, and a strong ambition for career growth and professional development are highly valued.
