We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Rural Medicine Specialist to join our practice in a large Victorian rural city.

Role Overview

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-quality primary healthcare services to our patients, with a focus on delivering comprehensive and coordinated care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general practitioner services to patients, including routine check-ups, health assessments, and management of chronic conditions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently as part of a team. A commitment to ongoing professional development is essential.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

  • Hold a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or equivalent qualification
  • Have at least 2 years' experience as a general practitioner, preferably in a rural setting
  • Be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

About the Location

Our practice is located in a DPA MMM3 area, eligible for Rural bonded scholars. This location offers visa sponsorship and is just 2 hours drive from Melbourne and 1 hour from Albury.
