Job Opportunity in Intensive Care

The position of Intensive Care Registrar presents a unique chance to work in a regional health service and specialist referral facility for Northeast Victoria.

Northeast Health Wangaratta is accredited by the College of Intensive Care Medicine for basic foundation training, elective, and basic components of ICU training.

As an Intensive Care Registrar, you will have the opportunity to work with a renowned expert in ICU - Professor David Tuxen, who is widely known internationally for his work on Mechanical Ventilation of Asthma.

The duties of this role are to be performed with adherence to the purpose and values of Northeast Health Wangaratta's strategic plan and compliance with the Code of Behaviour for staff.

  • Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the development of clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Candidates must possess General Registration with the Medical Board of Australia, experience in Intensive Care, and a minimum of PGY3 or above.
