Chief Infrastructure Designer

This role entails delivering premium service to the organization by working in a fast-paced environment with a passion for infrastructure design. The ideal candidate will possess good technical knowledge, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as be a team player.
Main Responsibilities:- Contributes to the IP network operations team.
- Removes VLAN configurations on ASR Routers using NSO Scripting.
- Eliminates port configurations on the ASR Routers and decommissions at customer premises.
- Eliminates entire device configurations as per requirements.
- Eliminates LAG on ASR devices through IP-RDM according to design.
- Maintains volume targets on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Certified Network Engineer with standard set skills.
- Intermediate-advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Visio.
- Experience in telecommunications network arena.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
The successful candidate will work effectively as part of the team, with both internal and external key stakeholders, and adhere to established procedures and protocols.
