Mackay Hospital and Health Service is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Facilitator to join their Emergency Department team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting, educating, and developing the knowledge and skills of emergency nursing staff.
About the Role- The Clinical Facilitator (CF) will practice autonomously, provide leadership, apply critical thinking skills, and focus on enacting teaching strategies.
- Clinical facilitation will be delivered at the point of clinical care to support clinicians in achieving skill acquisition and practice development.
- The CF will support nurse progression in accordance with the lifelong learning framework, assist in achieving mandatory training requirements, and with achieving the requirements of the Transition Support Program (TSP) – Emergency.
The ideal candidate will possess:

- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
