Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to contribute to a research project investigating the impact of multiple sclerosis-associated gene variants on neuropathology and disease progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a proactive attitude and engage in continuous learning and skill development
  • Develop and maintain strong communication skills for articulating complex scientific information
  • Conduct in vivo, ex vivo, and in vitro studies to investigate the effects of gene variants on neuron function
  • Collaborate with neurobiology, computational genetics, immunology, and clinical neurology experts
  • Present scientific data in oral and written formats and publish research findings
  • Secure external funding and contribute to the supervision of research higher degree students

Requirements:

  • PhD in Neuroscience or a related discipline
  • Strong record of international recognition and contributions to the field of Neuroscience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Academic track record including primary research publications
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise staff and students
