Regional Sales Manager

About the Role
Toro is seeking a results-driven and customer-focused professional to fill the newly created Area Sales Manager position within our Commercial Equipment team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional sales profit plans to drive revenue growth and meet profit targets.
- Collaborate with the Regional Sales/Service Manager to establish and achieve sales and profit goals.
- Manage a portfolio of key accounts, projects, and industry associations to foster strong relationships and drive business growth.
- Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues related to deliveries, accounts, and pricing.
- Stay up-to-date on new products, competitors' offerings, and market information to provide valuable insights to customers.
Requirements
- Proven sales experience in an equipment environment with a strong track record of success.
- Relevant industry experience and knowledge of the commercial equipment market.
- Excellent sales, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain effective business relationships.
- Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills to manage multiple priorities and projects.
- Excellent PC and Microsoft Office literacy.
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
- A valid Australian motor vehicle license.
