Job Overview

The Cafe Supervisor role is a rewarding career opportunity for individuals with cafe management experience and strong barista skills.

  • Responsibilities include daily operations, supervision of staff, managing rosters, and ensuring adequate staffing levels.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment, making coffee, heating/grilling food, serving other products, and providing excellent customer experience.
  • Learning brewing methods, improving service quality, and welcoming customers.
  • Stocktaking, ordering, and replenishing items, as well as handling cash and finalizing accounts at the end of the day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage cafe operations and supervise staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Develop and implement effective rostering systems to meet business needs.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety within the cafe.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Perform stocktakes, order supplies, and manage cash handling and banking procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in cafe management and strong barista skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and performing financial transactions.
