Employment Law Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Employment Law Specialist to join our team.

As an Employment Law Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing strategic legal advice across all aspects of employment law. You will lead or contribute to the delivery of expert advice on enterprise agreements, awards, contracts, workplace investigations, and terminations.

You will monitor and interpret legislative and industrial relations developments, advising on implications for policy, practice, and risk. You will draft, review, and negotiate employment-related documentation, ensuring legal robustness and alignment with organisational values.

You will partner with senior internal stakeholders across People & Culture, Risk, and Operations as well as external counsel and regulators to embed legal risk management into our workforce strategy.

You will influence policy development and contribute to enterprise-wide decision-making on employment practices and compliance. You will lead or support responses to regulatory inquiries, disputes, and litigation involving employment matters.

You will lead, coach, and develop legal professionals within the Employment Legal team. You will promote the strategic value of employment law across the organisation, translating legal complexity into clear, actionable guidance.

We are looking for someone with deep knowledge of employment law, industrial relations, and workplace legislation. You should have proficiency in drafting and negotiating employment contracts, policies, and settlement agreements.

You should be able to build trusted relationships with senior leaders, People & Culture, Risk, and external counsel. You should be skilled in translating legal advice into clear, commercially relevant guidance.

You should have strong communication and presentation skills, tailored to diverse audiences. Familiarity with regulatory bodies and processes is also essential.
