As a Pit Supervisor, you will play a key role in the success of our mine operations. We are seeking an experienced leader who can provide effective supervision and coordination to ensure the safe and timely achievement of production targets.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in equipment operations, with experience in large truck and shovel mining operations. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Providing leadership and guidance to the Load & Haul Crew, Pre-Strip Mining Contractor, and other Open Pit Personnel

- Maintaining compliance with the Mining Schedule

- Coordinating activities to ensure the safe, timely, and effective execution of approved plans for the achievement of mine production targets

- Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance productivity and efficiency

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Restricted Quarry Managers Certificate (desired)
  • Diploma in Front Line Management (desired)
  • 5 years experience in equipment operations from large truck & shovel mining operations
  • 2 years front line supervisor experience in large truck and shovel operations
