As a seasoned waste management professional, we are seeking an experienced HR Driver / Front Lift Operator to join our team.

Job Description

We require the successful applicant to operate garbage trucks for scheduled recycling waste collections across the Melbourne metropolitan area and out to Gippsland. This is a varied role that will require you to assist in all aspects of the recycling operation as needed.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Operating Front Lift trucks efficiently and safely
  • Completing pre-start checks and ensuring vehicles are maintained to safety standards
  • Following route schedules and reporting any delays or issues
  • Communicating clearly with dispatch and site supervisors
  • Adhering to all site safety protocols, including PPE and hazard identification
Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A valid HR Truck Licence
  • Minimum 6-12 months experience driving HR vehicles
  • Strong reliability and commitment to early morning starts
  • A good driving history report
  • Physical fitness with the ability to safely enter and exit the vehicle repeatedly throughout the shift
