Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Port Macquarie. As an Occupational Therapist - Community Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services to clients under Aged Care funding.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized programs for aged care clients living in the community
- Work collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency
- Postgraduate experience working with a variety of aged care services, including community settings
- Demonstrated ability to assess occupational therapy needs and develop individualized programs for aged care clients
- Knowledge of wellness, re-ablement, and restorative care approaches
