Job Summary:

The Store Operations Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of daily store operations. This position involves receiving and managing stock, maintaining a well-organized workspace, and delivering supplies to other Defence locations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Utilizing computer systems to track stock quantities and locations.
  • Delivering supplies to other SA location.
  • Operating equipment such as pallet jacks to move goods safely.
  • Conducting regular stock checks to ensure proper custody of inventory and monitoring quantities.
  • Assisting with general store duties, including packing and scheduling.
Requirements:
  • Valid Australian driver's licence.
  • Experience in warehousing or store environments is highly desirable.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and SAP is highly desirable.
