Cloud Transformation Expert

As a Cloud Transformation Expert, you will play a crucial role in transforming and modernising critical workloads across on-premise infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments. This involves developing platform roadmaps, implementing changes to enhance infrastructure performance, meeting audit and security requirements, and participating in system patching and upgrades with a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Contribute to the development of infrastructure platforms to meet current and future organisational needs.
  • Provide responsive and specialist technical support as a Subject Matter Expert, addressing complex issues and providing expert guidance.
  • Share knowledge to develop technical roadmaps, lead project planning and improvement initiatives, and drive strategic decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement in infrastructure performance, reliability, scalability, efficiency, and security through data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the DevOps team to automate deployment and maintenance processes, streamlining operations and enhancing productivity.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting tools for proactive issue resolution, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of the Infrastructure Technology knowledge base and procedures, fostering a culture of excellence and best practices.
  • Develop and mentor junior staff through training, coaching, and mentoring, nurturing their growth and expertise.
  • Act as a Level 3 escalation point for critical and intricate problems, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and security policies, upholding the highest standards of quality and integrity.
