Key Responsibilities

Delivering effective and efficient clothing services requires a skilled professional to measure and fit customers for clothing items, performing duties such as sewing rank, insignia and badges.

Primary Tasks:

  • Measure and fit customers for clothing items.
  • Sew rank, insignia and badges.
  • Perform basic sewing tasks including hemming, ironing and alterations.
  • Mount medals.
  • Handle cash transactions and reconcile records.

Manual Handling and Quality Control:

Manual handling skills are essential, along with the ability to accept returned items and inspect them for serviceability.

Maintain accurate stock movement records and ensure a clean work environment.

Teamwork and Communication:

Foster a culture of improvement and innovation, adhering to all company policies on WHS, Risk and Environment.

Strong keyboard skills and data entry abilities are required.

Qualifications and Experience:

Experience in measuring and fitting clothing items is essential, as well as experience in clothing store operations and altering clothing items.

Scheduling workloads and meeting production deadlines are crucial, along with providing direct customer support.

Desirable Skills:

MILIS / PIMS / DTP experience is advantageous, and the ability to work in a team environment is necessary.
