Key Maintenance Position

The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, allocate tasks to the maintenance team and contractors, ensuring efficient task completion and contributing to their execution.

Responsibilities of this Role:
  • Provide on-site support, guidance, and leadership on safety, work management, troubleshooting, fault finding, and quality of work.
  • Ensure timely execution of daily and weekly maintenance schedules, while maintaining compliance with work procedures.
  • Meet maintenance targets by performing inspections, servicing, adjustments, troubleshooting, and repairs on mobile equipment.
  • Monitor team performance and enhance overall capability.
  • Support training and mentoring of apprentices and trainees, while supervising contractors.
  • Maintain equipment across multiple departments and sites, including mining, technical services, and infrastructure.
  • Help develop and implement maintenance procedures, processes, and technology for safe and efficient asset operation, providing input based on prior experience.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the team.

About you:

  • Australian recognised Heavy Mobile Mechanical Trade Qualification is highly regarded.
  • Previous experience in mechanical maintenance in an underground environment and knowledge of mining technologies and equipment are desirable.
  • Knowledge of Registered plant and inspections is required.
  • Current WA Dangerous Goods Security Card, Working at Heights, and Confined Spaces is a plus.
  • High Risk License – Dogging, Rigging and Forklift is an advantage.
