Centre Manager Role

Journey Early Learning Bendigo South is a 96 place childcare centre that provides a warm and welcoming environment for children to grow and develop.

About the Centre Manager Position

This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and regulations.

Your primary focus will be leading, mentoring, and developing your team, while promoting best practices, driving continuous improvement, and engaging with the local community.

Key Responsibilities of the Centre Manager
  • Maintain a high level of health & safety standards at all times
  • Manage the performance and success of the centre
  • Oversee daily operations, including budgets, wages, rostering, and occupancy
  • Lead, coach, develop, and support the professional development of your team
  • Develop strong relationships with families and the community
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations
  • Advocate for the rights of every child within the centre
  • Implement and evaluate quality programs that support the development of all children.
