Job Title: Senior Project Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Development Manager to lead our renewable energy project development efforts. This role will be responsible for managing and leading all development projects from inception through to handover to the execution team.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and lead all development projects from inception through to handover to the execution team.
  2. Prospect for new sites for assets and investigate development opportunities through multiple channels.
  3. Build and lead your team of Development Managers and Senior Development Managers with the remit that Development will lead each project until handover to execution.
  4. Identify continuous improvement opportunities in the field of practice via personal action and team engagement.

About You:

  • You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in power generation, with 5 years of that being in Renewables or Storage.
  • You have demonstrable people and cultural leadership delivery of team engagement outcomes.
  • You have management and hands-on experience relevant to renewables and storage project development.
  • You have exceptional knowledge of power generation connections and interface with AEMO and the TNSP.
  • You have sound knowledge of contracting models, OEMs and Contractors.
  • You have sound knowledge of risk management processes including HAZOP & HAZID.
  • You have demonstrable experience in developing professional relationships and effectively working with personnel across departments in an integrated organisation in performance of duties.
  • You are available for frequent interstate travel.
